Job summary

Diversified Gas & Oil Corporation is seeking an HR Business Partner for the Northern Operating Division. You will act as a strategic partner, aligning HR initiatives with division goals and corporate HR. You’ll guide performance management, compensation actions, and talent development while building strong employee relations.

The role emphasizes partnership with field leadership, program design, and a proactive approach to compliance, training, and onboarding across the Appalachian Region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in HR, business, or related field; SHRM certification preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years in an exempt-level HR role.
• Oil & gas industry experience or manufacturing background beneficial.
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
• Strong generalist HR experience with ability to contribute across topics.
• Ability to prioritize HR needs and implement effective programs.
• Understanding of compensation and benefits systems.
• Knowledge of current HR laws and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work both independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Build partnerships with employees at all levels to foster trust and accountability.
• Partner with field leadership to ensure seamless HR processes like performance management and compensation.
• Develop knowledge of talent for succession planning, promotion decisions, and cross-business development.
• Design HR programs and policies aligned with the organization's strategy.
• Coach employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.
• Lead recruitment initiatives with divisional leadership.
• Assist with training initiatives and employee benefits questions.
• Oversee onboarding and orientation for the division.
• Handle ad hoc projects as needed.
