Job summary

FLOWERS.com Inc. in Central Ohio seeks an HR Business Partner to support HR across multiple brands from Hebron, OH. The role partners with leaders to manage employee relations, performance, learning, and compliance, while ensuring data integrity in HRIS systems.

Responsibilities include engaging employees, coaching managers, and coordinating workforce planning and onboarding/offboarding activities to sustain a high-performing organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field preferred; SPHR/PHR preferred.
• 5+ years HR experience required in high-volume distribution/manufacturing.
• Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build partnerships.
• Working knowledge of Federal and State regulations; MS Office proficiency.
• Experience with HR software systems; handling confidential information.
• Ability to comply with Food Safety Regulation on the operations floor.

Responsibilities

• Foster an inclusive, positive workplace culture.
• Lead employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and action planning.
• Serve as the first point of contact for HR policies and programs.
• Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and conduct investigations.
• Ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations; educate partners on employment laws.
• Provide coaching to managers on performance reviews and development plans.
• Promote continuous learning and skill development; identify training needs.
• Forecast hiring needs and develop workforce plans with department heads.
• Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes; knowledge transfer and exit interviews.
• Collaborate with EHSS and agency partners on safety and compliance.
