Job summary

Team Georgia is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to provide comprehensive HR support to GDOT offices in Georgia. You will act as the strategic partner to leadership, addressing workforce needs while ensuring compliance with policies and employment laws.

You will lead recruitment, onboarding, performance guidance, and workforce planning; maintain job docs and HRIS data; and collaborate with Benefits, Training, and Workforce Planning to deliver high-quality HR

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field with two years of professional HR experience or eight years of professional HR experience.
• Experience advertising and filling vacancies, workforce planning, succession planning, FLSA classifications, job analysis, and compensation studies.
• Strong communication with management, co-workers, and employees; committed to customer service.
• Ability to make sound decisions, solve problems, and work with others toward agreement.
• Experience in recruitment, classification/compensation or HR generalist roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive HR support to assigned GDOT offices and leadership teams.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment from vacancy request to job offer.
• Oversee onboarding, orientation, and staff integration.
• Advise managers on employee relations, performance, and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain job descriptions, min qualifications, and HR data in HRIS.
• Collect market pay data and prepare compensation and workforce reports.
• Collaborate with HR specialties including Benefits, Training, and Workforce planning.
