Job summary

Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) seeks an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to serve as a strategic partner to management and staff. You will align organizational objectives with employee needs on performance, redesign, change management, succession planning, learning, compensation and benefits.

You will develop HR initiatives and collaborate across functions to translate strategy into actionable plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, HR or related field with 3 years HR experience.
• Experience with labor laws and contract administration in unionized environments.
• Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and make sound decisions.
• Knowledge of HR data informing equitable decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide early input into large scale HR initiatives and align with organizational strategy.
• Lead organizational redesign in partnership with OD/Effectiveness teams.
• Support DEIB and promote a people-first culture.
• Lead talent review and succession planning in client areas.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition on department workforce planning and recruitment for management levels.
• Advise leaders on performance, change management, and employee engagement.
