Job summary

IU Health is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support the Metro academic service area in Indianapolis. You will coach leaders on documentation, performance, and organizational design, and guide change management in a complex matrixed environment.

The role partners with the IU School of Medicine and HR Centers of Excellence, delivering advanced PowerPoint and Excel deliverables for leadership, and helping drive system-wide initiatives including performance reviews, engagement

Qualifications

> Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is required. Master's Degree is preferred.
> 3-5 years of relevant Human Resources experience.
> Experience in executing HR programs and applying regulations (FLSA, COBRA, ADA, FMLA).
> Proficiency with Microsoft Office apps including Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI and SharePoint.
> Ability to navigate a matrixed, complex environment and work autonomously.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary HR partner for dually employed physicians, APPs, and their leaders.
Collaborate with the IU School of Medicine on employee relations matters involving dually employed faculty and clinical staff.
Coach leaders on documentation practices, performance management, behavioral issues, and organizational design.
Guide leaders through change management and help build team buy-in around initiatives.
Advise leaders on labor and wage law applications.
Support system-wide HR initiatives including annual performance reviews, engagement programs, and succession planning.
Partner with HR Centers of Excellence in talent acquisition, total rewards, talent management, and learning and development as needed.
Produce advanced PowerPoint and Excel deliverables for leader audiences.
Operate independently across a highly matrixed, complex environment.
