Job summary

Offit Kurman Brand is seeking an HR Business Partner to serve as a strategic advisor aligning HR initiatives with business objectives across multiple locations. You will partner with HR colleagues, managers, and departments to implement effective strategies in employee relations, performance management, compliance, and policy interpretation.

The HRBP translates business needs into HR solutions, functioning as both a management consultant and employee resource while supporting change initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; or, a minimum of 5+ years of progressive HR experience with 2-5 years in an HR Business Partner/HR Consultant role.
• Demonstrated proficiency with employment law compliance in multi-jurisdictional environments (CA, NY).
• Proficiency with HRIS, preferably UKG Pro/UltiPro.
• SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers to provide HR consulting and coaching on employee relations, policy interpretation, regulatory compliance, and performance management processes.
• Provide best practice recommendations for conflict resolution, investigations, and progressive corrective actions.
• Support organizational change initiatives including affiliations with new legal entities.
• Analyze HR metrics to identify trends, measure program effectiveness, and inform decision-making.
• Collaborate with Payroll, Benefits, Onboarding, Offboarding, Training, and other departments to address operational needs.
• Interpret HR policies and procedures for employees and managers; manage lifecycle processes including exit interviews.
