Job summary

Arkema, Inc. is seeking a Sr. HR Business Partner to join the HR team at the Alsip, IL facility, with supporting travel to Grand Rapids, MI. This role leads HR initiatives across manufacturing sites, guiding change management, talent acquisition, compensation, and succession planning.

The successful candidate will partner with Plant Manager and Site Leadership to deliver strategic HR programs, monitor HR metrics, and ensure compliant, effective people practices within a matrix organization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years working as an HR Generalist, including recruiting, employee relations, compensation and performance management.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree strongly preferred.
• Broad knowledge of HR practices, policies, laws, and regulations.
• Strategic, results-oriented leader with business focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR initiatives for plant and client groups across sites, supporting change management and business objectives.
• Partner with plant leadership to define HR strategy aligned with Americas initiatives.
• Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, development, promotions, and departures for assigned client groups.
• Develop workforce plans and organizational development actions with leadership.
