Job summary

Dollar Bank seeks a Human Resources Business Partner to align with business leaders, coach managers, and drive leadership development, employee relations, and talent optimization across the bank. You will serve as SME on HR programs and act as a change agent to advance people strategies and practices across units.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, strong communication, and strategic partnership to ensure compliant, inclusive practices and effective HR support across the bank’s teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university.
• A minimum of six (6) years of general experience in Human Resources with at least three (3) years in HR Administrator/HRBP/HR Manager or equivalent.
• Banking or financial services experience preferred.
• Professional HR certification required (SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR, or equivalent) or willingness to earn within the first year.
• Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching, consultation, and training to managers and staff on performance, productivity, conflict resolution, and engagement.
• Prepare managers for unemployment compensation hearings and defend Bank positions as needed.
• Develop and administer policies and guidelines to ensure fair, consistent application.
• Maintain an inclusive environment and ensure compliance with labor laws across the organization.
• Travel to offsite locations to assist with HR matters and conduct training sessions.
• Investigate and coach managers on disciplinary actions and performance improvements.
• Analyze data to recommend HR and business unit improvements.
• Provide ongoing coaching on performance management and goal development.
• Collaborate with leaders to understand talent strengths and risks affecting business units.
• Ensure confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information.
