Job summary

Barry-Wehmiller Design Group is seeking a strategic People partner to translate business priorities into workforce, leadership, and talent plans that enable performance and growth. You will collaborate with business leaders, HR Generalists, and the broader People Team to anticipate workforce needs and shape the People agenda with insight and actionable recommendations.

You will influence leadership decisions, guide succession and development, and help attract, develop, and retain top talent

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8+ years of progressive HR experience advising business and senior leaders.
• Experience leading talent strategy, succession, and performance management for a business unit or client group.
• Experience managing complex and high-risk employee relations and organizational change initiatives.
• Experience using People data and workforce analytics to identify trends and develop leadership recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Advise business leadership as a strategic People partner and translate objectives into People strategies.
• Identify organizational, talent, leadership, and retention risks early and propose solutions.
• Guide leaders on talent strategy, succession, performance, development, and retention.
• Analyze People data and business insights to diagnose issues and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Coach leaders to strengthen leadership effectiveness and organizational performance.
• Lead complex employee relations and significant organizational change matters to resolution.
• Drive the People strategy and change-management approach for major initiatives.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to address strategic workforce needs.
• Translate enterprise People priorities into actionable steps within the area.
• Collaborate with Senior HR Generalists and HR Generalists to ensure operational needs are met.
• Contribute to enterprise People initiatives and cross-functional projects.
