Job summary

HGA is seeking an HR Business Partner to join our Milwaukee, WI team. This role partners with business leaders to drive people strategies that boost organizational performance and employee engagement.

The position requires regular travel between Milwaukee and Madison and a hybrid work schedule with weekly in-office presence. You will advise on workforce planning, organizational design, performance management, and talent development, while aligning HR initiatives with our design-focused,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years minimum of progressive HR experience partnering with leaders in areas including employee relations, performance management, talent management, and organizational development.
• Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to build trusted relationships, influence leaders, and align people strategies with business objectives.
• Ability to travel between Milwaukee and Madison offices as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with business leaders to translate organizational priorities into actionable HR strategies and workforce planning.
• Employee Relations & Engagement: Provide coaching on performance management and team development, fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture.
• Performance & Talent Management: Support rollout of performance processes, identify high-potential employees, and develop plans with Learning & Development.
• HR Program Implementation: Ensure compliance with federal/state/local employment laws and partner with Talent Acquisition and Compensation to align pay practices with job architecture.
