Job summary

Teichert, Inc. is seeking an HR Manager to provide cross-functional HR support for multiple business units in California and Nevada.

The role partners with senior leadership, ensures regulatory compliance, and delivers value-added HR services aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of HR experience, a bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, and SHRM-CP/PHR credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or applicable field or equivalent.
• SHRM-CP or PHR credential or ability to obtain certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years progressive HR experience, experience resolving complex employee relations issues.

Responsibilities

• Conducts frequent meetings with leadership of each assigned business unit to understand needs, challenges, and opportunities.
• Provides HR guidance tailored to each business unit's context.
• Analyzes trends across units to develop programs, policies, and solutions.
• Manages complex employee relations issues and conducts investigations.
• Ensures compliance with California and Nevada employment laws and regulations.
• Collaborates with Talent Acquisition on terms for hires, promotions, and transfers.
• Supports workforce planning, restructures, and succession planning across units.
• Leads workplace accommodation processes with stakeholders and legal resources.
• Partner with management on hiring decisions, compensation, and disciplinary actions.
