Job summary

Kaiser Permanente Oakland seeks a senior HR leader to act as a strategic partner to executive teams, guiding strategy, programs, policies, and procedures. You will lead complex employee and labor relations, investigations, and data-driven HR analytics to support compliance and organizational change.

You will influence cross-functional teams, mentor colleagues, and drive multi-stream initiatives while aligning HR efforts with business goals in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in a leadership role, with or without direct reports.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Social Science, Public Administration or related field; ten years HR/business ops experience.
• Experience in healthcare or HR consulting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with executives to influence strategy, programs, policies, and procedures.
• Lead complex HR investigations and advise on employee relations.
• Develop and deploy organizational change initiatives and change management plans.
• Provide data-driven HR insights and benchmarking analyses.
• Ensure HR practices align with KP standards and regulatory changes.
• Coordinate HR activities across Centers of Excellence and stakeholders.
• Develop policies, procedures, and documentation to guide HR work.
• Support HR compliance through regulatory monitoring and advisory.
