Job summary

CommonSpirit Health's Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs seeks an HR Business Partner to align business objectives with employees and management across departments, facilities, markets and divisions.

You will provide expertise in employee relations, labor relations, performance management, training, policy application, workforce planning, ADA processes, and compensation, while partnering with HR CoE to deliver value-added HR services aligned to the organization's strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum of three years HR or leadership experience OR minimum of five years HR or leadership experience in the discipline OR Master's Degree (With relevant experience; equivalent education and/or experience; experience through certifications).
• HR experience should encompass generalist experience or at least two areas of specialty, e.g., compensation, benefits, employee/labor relations, talent acquisition, etc.
• Demonstrated employee relations experience with a working knowledge of recruitment, training delivery, benefits and compensation theory/administration

Responsibilities

• Partner with clients to understand and assess business direction; create HR plans aligned to department needs.
• Provide advice, feedback and development to improve leadership effectiveness and team performance.
• Offer guidance addressing engagement, performance management, employee relations, training and HR areas.
• Serve as a resource to employees, management and HR to promote positive employee relations.
• Identify and facilitate equitable resolution of job-related complaints and concerns.
• Integrate culture standards with CommonSpirit Health's mission, vision and values across units and markets.
• Provide direction on policy interpretation and collective bargaining agreements.
• Collaborate with Employee/Labor Relations CoE on documentation for performance improvement and termination processes.
