Job summary

K2 Space is seeking an HR Business Partner to shape our people strategy and culture. You will work with HR and leadership to implement compliant, proactive HR initiatives that attract and retain top talent across a fast-growing aerospace environment.

You will handle employee relations, onboarding to offboarding, and policy deployment to scale with the business while ensuring fair treatment and compliance with California laws. Equity opportunities accompany the role.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as an HR Business Partner or Generalist in a fast-paced startup.
• Experience handling employee relations matters and internal investigations.
• Strong coaching and influence across managers and staff.
• Direct California labor and employment law experience, including FLSA.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior/ Principal HRBPs and build your own partnerships.
• Advise managers and contributors to foster a positive work environment.
• Guide onboarding through offboarding with seamless processes.
• Address employee relations matters promptly and fairly.
• Deploy HR policies and programs that scale with the business.
• Drive engagement, retention, and workforce development.
