Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 3 or more years of HR experience, preferably in an HR Business Partner or Generalist role.
• Experience in employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Ability and willingness to travel 10-25%.
• Must pass all required pre-employment screenings including background checks, drug/alcohol testing, and related tests.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate management of all employee data through daily audits.
• Analyze HR data, including headcount, discipline, employee satisfaction, and turnover, to improve workforce performance.
• Coach managers on writing performance reviews and addressing performance gaps; conduct monthly audits of reviews and rating distributions.
• Assist with investigations, prepare reports, and suggest corrective actions.
• Support the Drug & Alcohol testing program and post-accident testing with other departments.
• Conduct exit processes and provide feedback to HR Manager.
• Respond to unemployment claims and attend hearings as needed.
• Update discipline, termination, and other HR logs daily.
• Partner with Recruiters to fill challenging roles and understand talent acquisition metrics.
• Track and submit payroll information for sign-on and referral bonuses.
• Address employee benefits questions and escalate complex inquiries.
• Provide LOA information to HR and communicate updates to Managers.
• Ensure HR compliance training is completed by year-end.
• Co-host monthly learning sessions with the HR Manager.
• Provide necessary reports for affirmative action plan (AAP) reporting.
• Other duties assigned by HR Manager.
