Job summary

Lake Compounce in Bristol, CT, is seeking a Full-time Human Resources Manager to support the corporate HR team across multiple departments. You will focus on training, recruiting, scheduling, payroll, benefits, and internal communications, ensuring compliance with CT laws and company policies.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business, 3+ years in HR/management, and 1+ year supervisory experience. Fluency in English is required; Spanish is a plus. This is not a remote position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field; 3+ years HR/management experience.
• 1+ year supervisory experience; recruitment, performance appraisals and training preferred.
• Fluent English; Spanish a plus; strong confidentiality and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the HR team and assigned departments.
• Lead recruiting, onboarding, and scheduling for hosts.
• Oversee payroll, benefits, and timekeeping activities.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and CT laws.
• Develop training programs and employee engagement initiatives.
