Job summary

Picuris Pueblo is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to provide strategic leadership and day-to-day oversight of all HR functions. You will ensure compliance with tribal, federal, and state employment requirements while managing recruitment, compensation and benefits, performance management, policy administration, training, and personnel records.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience.
• Three (3) years of supervisory or management experience.
• A related degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and evaluate Human Resources operations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and handbooks.
• Ensure compliance with Tribal, Federal, and State employment laws.
• Coordinate recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of employees.
• Administer compensation programs and benefits; assist with salary reviews.
• Maintain confidentiality of personnel records and investigations.
• Advise Tribal leadership on employment matters.
• Maintain HRIS and payroll records.
