Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking an experienced HR professional to oversee employment processes, benefits administration, and payroll for its workforce in the Southeast region. The role acts as the primary HR contact for managers and staff, ensuring compliant records and reporting while driving successful hiring outcomes.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Computer literate (MS Word and MS Excel).
• BS degree in HR Administration/Business Management.
• Ability to travel to various work locations throughout the southeast region.

Responsibilities

• Direct all phases of employment including advertising, recruiting, interviewing, testing, placement of personnel, orientation programs, exit interviews, and unemployment compensation hearings.
• Administer all employee benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, STD, LTD, FMLA and vacation.
• Serve as primary source of contact to managers, employees, and legal counsel on all human resource related matters.
• Maintain and administer all HR reports and records as required by state and federal laws.
• Maintain and update personnel files.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee and candidate information.
• Compute, post, and maintain reports related to employee leave and absentees.
• Process biweekly payroll.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Organize and communicate employee programs.
• Maintain manning chart.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.
