Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking an HR professional to oversee all employment duties, benefits administration, and to meet hiring goals by filling open positions with qualified candidates. The role requires managing payroll, benefits programs, and HR records while partnering with management and legal counsel.

Ideal candidates excel in communication, organization, and leadership, and can travel regionally to support southeast locations.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Computer literate (MS Word and Excel).
• BS degree in HR Administration/Business Management.
• Ability to travel to various work locations throughout the southeast region.

Responsibilities

• Direct all phases of employment including advertising, recruiting, interviewing, testing, placement of personnel, orientation programs, exit interviews, and unemployment compensation hearings
• Administer all employee benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, STD, LTD, FMLA and vacation
• Serve as primary source of contact to managers, employees, and legal counsel on all human resource related matters
• Maintain and administer all HR reports and records as required by state and federal laws
• Maintain and update personnel files
• Maintain confidentiality of employee and candidate information
• Compute, post, and maintain reports related to employee leave and absentees
• Process biweekly payroll
• Comply with company policies and procedures
• Organize and communicate employee programs
• Maintain manning chart
• Additional duties as assigned by management
