Job summary

Walmart is seeking an experienced Human Resource Manager for our Greenfield, IN distribution center. You will oversee all HR functions, ensure policy compliance, and act as a strategic partner to site leadership to align people practices with business goals.

You will lead the People Team, drive workforce planning, succession and development, and champion a culture of belonging. Benefits include health, retirement, PTO, and education programs, with additional compensation based on performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field and 2 years' HR Generalist experience (payroll, workers' compensation, benefits) with at least one year supervising.
OR 1 year's experience as Walmart HR Area Manager or Walmart HR Office Manager supervising and developing associates; payroll, staffing, payroll processing, and related HR tasks.
3 years' experience supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing employees, including staffing and training programs.

Responsibilities

Act as strategic business partner to site leaders to implement people practices.
Lead the People Team at the distribution center to deliver an exceptional associate experience.
Develop and communicate People strategies aligned with business objectives.
Support workforce planning, talent and succession discussions to build leadership.
Guide change management with clear communication and follow-up.
Lead adoption of new people digital tools and analytics for better decisions.
Monitor changes in policies and employment laws to ensure compliant communication and changes.
