Job summary

USAL is seeking a Manager, Human Resources to lead HR functions for an assigned client group across the organization. You will partner with business leaders and the HR team to drive workforce planning, employee relations, and program implementation, while ensuring regulatory compliance and data-driven decision making.

You will manage compensation/benefits in collaboration with Finance, oversee payroll, and support development of HR policies and processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university.
5–8 years of Human Resources experience, with an emphasis in employee relations and talent acquisition.
Experience with HR systems (ADP) and Time & Attendance (Kronos).
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local laws affecting HR.
Willingness to travel up to 30% in the assigned region.
PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead HR business partnership functions within the assigned client group.
Deliver data-driven organizational insights to support day-to-day operations and future planning.
Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and employment regulations.
Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and programs that promote consistency and compliance.
Advise management on employee relations issues, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
Oversee compensation, benefits, and payroll processes in partnership with finance.
Support leadership with workforce planning, organizational structure, and succession planning.
