Job summary

AeroPlastics Inc. seeks a Human Resources Manager to lead strategic and hands-on HR initiatives aligned with our business goals and culture.

The role partners with business leaders to translate needs into actionable HR strategies, driving employee engagement, managing complex employee relations and investigations, and ensuring regulatory compliance and confidentiality. The position oversees recruitment, payroll coordination, benefits, training planning, and data reporting, including GDPR

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years HR management experience with progression.
• Minimum 2 years experience in multi-shift manufacturing operations.
• Minimum 2 years experience with unionized labor force.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals.
• Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues including investigations; provide guidance on performance improvements and policy adherence.
• Maintain knowledge of legal requirements; ensure regulatory compliance; manage site UI, WC, EEO, etc.
• Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to managers.
• Improve work relationships, build morale, and increase employee engagement and retention.
• Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
• Lead recruitment efforts and develop contract terms for hires, promotions, transfers.
• Payroll management; ensure timecard accuracy and final ledger review before payments.
• Support and interpret employee benefit programs, company vehicles, training development, etc.
• Ensure confidentiality of employee data and GDPR compliance.
• Coordinate training plans and manage annual review processes; assist in performance management including compensation/incentives and discipline.
• Handle other tasks/projects as necessary.
