Job summary

Renewal of Greater NYC | Specialty Renewal & Restoration in Bloomingdale, NJ is seeking a hands-on HR Manager to lead all human resources functions across field, production and office teams, blending strategic planning with day-to-day execution in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.

You will manage recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, training, payroll, and benefits while aligning staffing with operational needs and supporting company growth through scalable HR

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HR experience in production, logistics, or service environments.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and compliance.
• Experience managing hourly workforces and shift patterns.
• HR certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR preferred.
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is required.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment & staffing: manage full-cycle hiring and onboarding and partner with leadership on workforce planning.
• Employee relations & performance: handle investigations, coaching, and performance management.
• Compliance & risk management: ensure adherence to labor laws, manage leaves, safety programs, and recordkeeping.
• Training & development: coordinate onboarding and ongoing training; identify skill gaps and cross-training needs.
• Payroll, benefits & reporting: support payroll, benefits administration, and HR metrics reporting.
• Operations support: maintain visibility on the production floor; align staffing with operational needs.
