Job summary

The Saginaw Intermediate School District is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations, staff and programs across SISD and partner districts. This role oversees employee lifecycle processes, HR systems, benefits, leave, and compliance with bargaining agreements and board policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years HR experience; school HR preferred.
• MSBO certification or ability to obtain within 3 years.
• Experience with benefits, leave, workers’ comp, unemployment preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Google platforms; learn SISD HR systems.
• Ability to interpret CBAs, policies, and employment requirements.
• Strong HR data reporting and metrics skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for HR Generalists, ensure policy/CBAs compliance.
• Implement and enforce collective bargaining terms across districts.
• Oversee HR programs, analytics, and service delivery.
• Coordinate leave, workers’ compensation, and unemployment processes.
• Manage Skyward, BambooHR, Frontline configurations and rollovers.
• Prepare HR metrics, reports, dashboards for leadership.
• Collaborate with Finance on audits and payroll data validation.
