Job summary

TMP Architecture, Inc. is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee HR functions across the firm and provide essential administrative support.

The role focuses on payroll, benefits administration, onboarding, and compliance, with opportunities to lead employee development and organizational growth while ensuring we maintain accurate, confidential records and implement effective HR processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business-related field; HR preferred.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
• Minimum of three years of HR Manager or Generalist experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, maintain, and train staff on HR policies and procedures.
• Direct onboarding, open enrollment, and hiring processes.
• Manage payroll, benefits administration, compliance, documentation, and recordkeeping.
• Partner with firm leadership to achieve key strategic initiatives.
• Supervise HR Coordinator with day-to-day duties.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and offer coordination.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, addressing concerns, conducting investigations, and resolving workplace issues.
• Administer performance management processes, including reviews, goal setting, and corrective action.
• Coordinate employee training, development, and continuing education programs.
• Administer leaves of absence, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, and disability claims.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
• Oversee HRIS data integrity and generate reports for leadership as needed.
• Support workplace safety initiatives and manage workers' compensation claims.
• Conduct exit interviews and manage the offboarding process.
• Monitor and communicate changes in employment law to ensure ongoing organizational compliance.
• Routine on-site attendance.
• Other duties as assigned
