Job summary

MTM LLC is seeking an experienced HR, Benefits & Compliance Manager to own benefits programs, business insurance and subcontractor compliance, and key HR compliance functions. This is a hands-on role for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and confident navigating federal and multi-state employment requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HR, benefits administration, compliance, risk management.
• Strong knowledge of employee benefits, employment law, and HR compliance.
• Experience managing benefits renewals, open enrollment, COBRA, leaves, and retirement plans.

Responsibilities

• Design, renew, and administer medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401(k) programs.
• Lead benefits renewals with the broker and model plan scenarios to control costs.
• Manage open enrollment from start to finish with employee support for elections.
• Oversee COBRA, leaves of absence, and disability administration.
• Ensure ACA reporting, ERISA filings, 401(k) audit support, and nondiscrimination testing.
• Partner with CFO and broker to manage the commercial insurance program and renewals.
• Oversee renewals, premium audits, documentation, and compliance requirements.
• Build and manage subcontractor insurance compliance, COIs, and endorsements.
• Monitor expirations and enforce additional insured waivers; manage risk.
• Administer subcontractor agreements and support worker classification decisions.
