Job summary

Southworth International Group, Inc. (SIGI) is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead strategic and operational HR initiatives at our Falmouth, ME headquarters.

You will partner with site leaders and the AMS HR team to optimize employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, payroll governance, and compliance across the site. The role translates enterprise talent strategies into site-level execution, driving leadership development, succession planning, and change

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administration, or a related field or work equivalency.
• 8-10 yrs of experience in senior HRBP, senior HR Generalist, or HR Manager role.
• SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification is preferred.
• Must be able to demonstrate expertise in strategic and operational deliverables.
• Proven communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the onsite HR leader and trusted people strategy partner for the SIGI headquarters site.
• Shapes and executes site-level people strategy aligned to enterprise business objectives.
• Acts as a trusted partner to leaders on organizational effectiveness, workforce risk, talent strategy, and culture transformation.
• Influences business decisions by providing insights on workforce trends and capacity risks.
• Translates enterprise talent, workforce, and HR strategies into scalable site execution.
• Leads strategic workforce planning for the site, aligning staffing with production demand and growth.
• Drives site talent strategy with internal mobility, succession planning, and leadership pipelines.
• Leads talent reviews and development planning for key roles.
• Partners with leaders to mitigate talent risks and ensure long-term workforce sustainability.
• Coaches leaders on decision-making, documentation, and risk mitigation to ensure compliant practices.
• Ensures payroll governance, wage/hour compliance, and audits in partnership with site leaders.
