Job summary

MITER Brands in Venice, FL seeks a Human Resources Manager to serve as a strategic business partner, leading HR initiatives aligned with the company’s objectives and driving a high-performance culture within a manufacturing environment.

The HR Manager will provide leadership across employee relations, compensation and benefits, payroll oversight, training and development, regulatory compliance, and workforce planning while partnering with site leadership for operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of HR Generalist experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Manufacturing environment experience required.
• Strong experience supporting hourly and salaried employee populations.
• Experience partnering with operational leadership teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR initiatives aligned with company objectives across local facility.
• Partner with site leadership on HR policies, procedures, employment laws, standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage employee relations and workforce planning to support manufacturing operations.
• Oversee payroll processes and benefits administration for the site.
• Coach supervisors and managers on HR programs and leadership practices.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on recruitment for exempt and non-exempt roles.
• Support safety programs including Workers’ Compensation processes.
• Drive HR process improvements and operational excellence across the site.
