Job summary

M.J. Electric, LLC in Peshtigo, WI, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead all HR functions for a new fabrication facility manufacturing critical electrical infrastructure for utility and energy customers.

You will oversee employee relations, compliance, benefits, talent acquisition, and workforce development, and partner with union leadership to administer the CBA and address employee concerns.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years HR experience, including talent acquisition.
• Experience in a union environment with CBA administration.
• Proven ability to build a staffing pipeline in a growth facility.
• Strong knowledge of HR compliance, labor law, and benefits administration.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Lead talent acquisition strategy for the facility and growth.
• Build relationships with union leadership and reps.
• Participate in CBA negotiations and renewals.
• Administer and interpret the CBA across the plant.
• Manage grievances and union-related employee relations.
• Oversee new-hire training, onboarding, and organizational development.
• Develop and coach HR team.
• Administer benefits and ensure HR compliance.
• Partner with department leaders on workforce planning.
