Job summary

PACCAR's IT Division in Renton, WA seeks a Senior HR Specialist to provide HR support to senior leaders and managers. You will administer HR programs and policies, participate in continuous improvement, and deliver excellent employee service.

Located at PACCAR’s Global IT Headquarters in Renton, this role partners across HR to drive performance and engagement. The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field, 3+ years HR generalist experience, and strong knowledge of HR laws and HRIS tools;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or HR required.
• 3+ years of broad HR generalist experience.
• Experience identifying innovative solutions.
• Experience influencing at peer level and above.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to work independently.
• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
• Confidentiality and problem-solving abilities.
• FMLA, ADA, AAP, and Workers’ Compensation knowledge; SAP/SharePoint familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment and Talent Management: advise managers, align hiring with business needs.
• Guidance on job grades, salary recommendations, and promotions.
• Lead training coordination including mandatory programs.
• Engagement, rewards and retention: drive employee engagement and morale.
• Organizational and HR effectiveness: support policy implementation and reporting.
• Back-up coverage for front desk/office, safety initiatives, and process improvements.
