Job summary

PACCAR is seeking an HR Operations Specialist in Bellevue, WA to prepare and distribute routine HR reports, maintain employee records, and support compliance and payroll-related activities.

You will partner with HR leaders to ensure data integrity across systems, assist with onboarding, vendor invoices, and HR initiatives, and grow within a Fortune 200 company. Entry-level experience with a bachelor’s degree is welcome.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in HR, admin support, operations, payroll, or related field.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Customer-service orientation with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to learn new systems, processes, and technologies quickly.
  • Experience with HRIS systems or reporting tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and distribute routine and ad hoc HR reports, including headcount, workforce, salary and audit reports.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy across HR systems, reports and databases.
  • Process and track employment verification requests and assist with unemployment claims administration.
  • Assist with state and federal compliance reporting requirements, including new hire reporting.
  • Process HR-related vendor invoices and maintain supporting documentation.
  • Administer employee programs such as tuition reimbursement and support other HR initiatives as assigned.
  • Support HR document management processes, including electronic signature workflows, filing, record retention and SharePoint updates.
  • Compile workforce data and prepare reports for HR leaders and business stakeholders.
  • Assist in maintaining standard operating procedures and identifying opportunities to improve HR processes and reporting.
  • Support internal audits, compliance reviews and data validation activities.
  • Provide administrative support for special HR projects and other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements.
  • SHRM-CP or aPHR certification eligibility or interest in pursuing certification.
