Job summary

PACCAR is seeking an HR Operations Specialist in Bellevue, WA to provide administrative and operational support for HR programs and processes. You will maintain employee data, handle HR transactions, and prepare routine reports while partnering with HR, finance and stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate completion of processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 0-2 years of HR, admin, operations or payroll experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and distribute routine and ad hoc HR reports (headcount, workforce, salary, audits).
  • Maintain employee records and data accuracy across HR systems and databases.
  • Process employment verification requests and assist with unemployment claims.
  • Assist with state and federal compliance reporting (including new hire reporting).
  • Process HR-related vendor invoices and maintain supporting documentation.
  • Administer employee programs (tuition reimbursement) and HR initiatives as assigned.
  • Support HR document management (electronic signatures, filing, retention, SharePoint).
  • Compile workforce data and prepare reports for HR leaders and stakeholders.
  • Assist in maintaining SOPs and identify opportunities to improve HR reporting.
  • Support internal audits, compliance reviews and data validation activities.
  • Provide administrative support for special HR projects and other duties.

Requisition Summary

The HR Operations Specialist provides administrative and operational support for Human Resources programs and processes. This role is responsible for maintaining employee data, processing HR transactions, preparin routine reports, supporting compliance activities and assisting with employee programs. The HR Operations Specialist partners with HR team members, finance and business stakeholders to ensure HR processes are completed accurately, efficiently and in a timely manner.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Compile workforce data and prepare reports for HR leaders and business stakeholders
  • Assist in maintaining standard operating procedures and identifying opportunities to improve HR processes and reporting
  • Support internal audits, compliance reviews and data validation activities
  • Provide administrative support for special HR projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 0-2 years of experience in Human Resources, administrative support, operations, payroll, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SHRM-CP or aPHR certification eligibility or interest in pursuing certification.
