Job summary

WilmerHale is seeking an HR Business Partner and Recruiter to support administrative departments and act as a regional HR liaison. This role includes developing, administering, and overseeing HR programs such as performance management, training, policy design and compensation.

You will partner with managers to address HR needs, manage recruitment for various staff levels, and ensure legal risk is minimized through HR guidance and employment law updates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Human Resources.
• Two years in an employee relations role preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, business, HR, or related.

Responsibilities

• Serve as HR business partner and recruiter to administrative departments.
• Develop and oversee HR programs including performance management, training, policy design and compensation.
• Provide guidance to department managers on HR-related matters.
• Protect the firm from legal risk through HR guidance and employment law updates.
• Lead recruitment activities for multiple staff levels and sources.
• Assist in staff compensation administration and job description drafting.
• Collaborate on training needs and deliver programs at various levels.
• Coordinate accommodations and return-to-work planning with health care professionals.
• Support policy interpretation and consistency with the Employee Relations team.
