Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Concord, NC is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Generalist to partner with business leaders and drive workforce initiatives. You will apply HR metrics to improve turnover, retention and staffing models, while ensuring compliance with policies and employment laws.

You will coach managers on performance, lead learning and development efforts, manage compensation and benefits processes, and handle absence management. Onsite presence five days a week is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related.
• Experience in desktop applications (Google tools, MS Office or equivalent).
• Excellent communication and problem solving abilities.
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Acts as strategic partner using workforce data and HR metrics.
• Educates and consults leadership on Performance Management processes.
• Leads Learning and Development initiatives for leaders.
• Manages compensation and benefits processes and enrollment.
• Oversees absence management (Workers' Comp, disability, FMLA).
• Performs general HR duties and exits procedures as needed.
