Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Concord, NC is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to act as a strategic partner, using workforce data to guide HR initiatives and align with business goals. You will support recruiting, training, employee relations and benefits administration while ensuring compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of HR generalist experience with employment law knowledge.
• Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field required.
• Experience with desktop applications (Google tools, MS Office, spreadsheets, presentations).

Responsibilities

• Provide recruiting and selection, training and development, employee relations and HR consulting to leaders.
• Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and inform initiatives.
• Educate leaders on performance management and learning and development.
• Support compensation, benefits enrollment and annual changes.
• Manage absence programs including workers' compensation and FMLA.
• Perform admin tasks: HRIS data entry, unemployment claims, exit interviews.
