Job summary

Granite State Manufacturing in Manchester, Alabama, is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to lead HR operations across our multi-site manufacturing environment. You will drive talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation, compliance, training, and workforce planning while ensuring a positive employee experience and adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.

This role partners with leadership to align HR initiatives with business goals and supports ongoing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5–7 years of related experience, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years supporting manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent time management and deadline-driven.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Experience with HRIS, ERP, and office software.
• Willingness to travel between facilities.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate talent acquisition and employee relations across multi-site facilities.
• Manage performance, compensation, compliance, training, and development programs.
• Coordinate benefits enrollment, changes, and education.
• Support workforce planning and succession initiatives.
• Ensure accurate HR records and regulatory reporting (EEO-1 etc.).
• Coach managers on performance and corrective actions.
• Assist with compensation analysis and wage administration.
• Lead HR projects and cross-functional teams when needed.
