Wyman Gordon, located in Brighton MI, is seeking a Human Resource Generalist to handle employee relations, recruitment, benefits, payroll and training.

The role supports Worcester MA and Princeton KY locations; some travel may be required. Must ensure legal compliance and maintain documentation. Bachelor's degree and 1–3 years HR experience in manufacturing preferred; ADP and KRONOS experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business preferred.
• 1–3 years HR experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Microsoft Office knowledge intermediate to expert level.
• Experience with ADP and KRONOS strongly preferred.
• PHR / SPHR SHRM Certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws as well as company policies and procedures.
• Primary recruiter for all non-exempt level roles including establishing community based relationships and pipeline programs to support continued growth.
• Monitors FMLA and other leaves of absence.
• Maintains all employee and applicant documentation as dictated by governing agencies.
• Manages and tracks all employee disciplinary action.
• Monitors tardy and absenteeism reports and ensures proper documentation is issued on employees who have excessive tardiness or absenteeism problems. Reports vacation, sick, personal day and holiday use to payroll and scheduling. Maintains and distributes report of same.
• Maintains employee personnel files including all training records.
• Ensures compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification; periodically audits Forms I-9.
• Distributes and monitors employee performance evaluations and ensures they are done in a timely manner (i.e., three months, six months, one year and yearly thereafter).
• Monitors employee eligibility for benefits plans. Reviews benefits with employees and processes enrollment, cancellation or changes. Organizes and manages annual open enrollment communications and election process. Maintains and distributes list of new and cancelled employees under each benefit plan. Verifies benefit billing accuracy and processes for payment.
• Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs.
