CORE West in Roseville, CA is seeking an Employee Services Manager to lead HR-related activities from recruitment through departures, based in the Roseville office. You will partner with local leadership and national resources to manage employee administration, payroll coordination, benefits, and leave processes.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HR/employee services with California-specific requirements and familiarity with union payroll practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of human resources or employee services experience, including California requirements.
• Experience with union employment and payroll is highly preferred.
• Construction industry experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle recruiting, postings, sourcing, screening, interviews, and offers.
• Coordinate onboarding, background checks, drug screening, and first-day logistics.
• Manage timecard submission, payroll and benefits notifications with payroll/project teams.
• Maintain confidential employee records and escalate issues to leadership.
• Oversee California family and medical leave and pregnancy disability leave processes.
• Coordinate performance review schedules and related communications.
