Job summary

Millennium Hotels & Resorts is seeking an experienced Director of Human Resources for The Bostonian Hotel Boston in Boston, MA. This role partners with hotel leadership to drive HR strategy, oversees labor relations in a unionized environment, and ensures compliant HR operations across recruitment, payroll, benefits, and development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of five years of progressive HR experience, including leadership responsibility; hospitality experience strongly preferred.
• Experience managing HR and labor relations in a unionized environment.
• Strong knowledge of CBAs, grievance procedures, contract administration, disciplinary processes, and labor-management relations.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR strategy and partner with GM to support hotel business objectives.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll coordination, benefits, compliance and training.
• Manage labor relations, interpret CBAs, conduct investigations, and coordinate with union representatives.
• Ensure payroll accuracy, HR data integrity, and regulatory compliance across local/state requirements.
• Provide coaching to leaders on workforce planning, performance management, and leadership development.
