Job summary

MV Transportation is seeking a Human Resources Director to lead the HR functions at our transit client sites. The role requires strategic partnership with client management and union leadership, overseeing talent management, recruiting, training, and compliance with laws.

The successful candidate will guide employee relations, performance management, and policy administration, ensuring alignment with MV’s values and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resource management or a related field is required, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of experience in Human Resources.
• 5 years administering HR in a unionized environment.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a true Business Partner through strong relationships with client management to provide timely and responsive guidance and solutions.
• Handles questions and communications regarding human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations.
• Administers HR programs, plans and procedures for company personnel and assists in policy development.
• Monitors and advocates for employee engagement and performance management initiatives to reduce turnover and drive improvement.
