Job summary

Hampton Behavioral Health Center, part of Universal Health Services, seeks an HR Director for the leadership team. The role provides planning, reporting and analysis to meet organizational goals, ensures compliance with federal/state laws and accreditation standards, and oversees recruitment, compensation, benefits, and HRIS management.

The position requires strategic leadership, strong communication, and extensive healthcare HR experience to support a large network of facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 3 years management experience required, and 5 years of healthcare experience preferred.
• PHR, SPHR or GPHR certification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; knowledge of Federal and State employment laws for HR; experience with wage/salary, benefits, workers' compensation, recruitment/retention, training and employee relations.
• Knowledge of The Joint Commission (TJC) standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional level planning, reporting and analysis to support organizational goals.
• Ensure HR activities comply with laws, licensing and accreditation bodies.
• Oversee recruitment, compensation, benefits, training/orientation, employee relations and HRIS recordkeeping.
• Resolve conflicts to protect organizational assets and support management decisions.
