Job summary

Evolve HR Group is seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead the HRBP function and serve as a strategic partner to organizational leaders in Indianapolis. You will align people strategies with business objectives, drive organizational effectiveness, and oversee talent development and workforce planning.

Reporting to the CHRO, this role emphasizes coaching leaders, advising on employee relations, and ensuring compliant HR practices across departments and clinics.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) or more years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience.
• Experience serving as an HR Business Partner supporting senior leaders preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• SHRM-SCP, SPHR certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the HRBP team to provide strategic HR support across the organization.
• Partner with executive leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent strategies.
• Serve as the strategic HR advisor for organizational and people initiatives.
• Coach leaders on employee relations, performance management, and leadership effectiveness.
• Identify talent needs, succession plans, and leadership development opportunities.
• Lead organizational change initiatives and support growth and transformation.
• Collaborate to improve employee engagement, retention, and culture.
• Guide on performance management, coaching, corrective action, and conflict resolution.
• Partner with other HR areas to deliver integrated HR solutions.
• Ensure consistent application of HR policies and compliance with employment laws.
• Analyze workforce trends and organizational metrics to support decisions.
• Participate in strategic planning to support business goals.
