Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Human Resources Director for its Residential and Wiring Devices (RWD) business within the Electrical Sector Americas. The position will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, with ~25% travel.

You will partner with senior leaders to shape workforce strategy and organization design across countries and sites, lead leadership development, succession planning, and cross-functional change initiatives, and ensure strong employee relations and analytics-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 12 years of progressively responsible HR experience, including senior HR business partner roles.
• Experience leading HR teams and influencing senior leaders in a matrixed environment.
• Experience leading HR for a business unit, organization or division.

Responsibilities

• Advise SVP/GM and regional leadership shaping people and culture decisions.
• Translate strategy into workforce strategy including long-range planning.
• Lead leadership effectiveness and organizational capability initiatives.
• Build a diverse leadership pipeline with robust succession planning.
• Drive people aspects of transformation and significant organizational changes.
• Strengthen hourly workforce strategy and frontline leadership development.
• Use analytics to identify risks and measure impact of people strategies.
