Job summary

Insurance Recruiter Services in Spring, TX seeks a seasoned Director of Human Resources to lead all people operations for ~300 employees across multiple locations. You will partner with C-suite and field leaders, own employee relations, talent strategy, compliance, and HR systems, while rolling up your sleeves to drive scalable processes and a people-first culture. This is a working leadership role requiring autonomy and strong judgment.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
• Strong background in employee relations, corrective action, performance management, and terminations.
• Experience leading talent acquisition strategy and managing recruiters.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with strong judgment and discretion.
• Proven experience partnering with executive and field leaders.

Responsibilities

• Advise the CEO and leaders on HR, talent, and organizational matters.
• Lead corrective action processes and terminations and guide leaders through difficult conversations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulatory inquiries.
• Own HR aspects of mergers & acquisitions, including due diligence, onboarding, and integration.
• Lead merit cycles, 401(k) management, open enrollment, and payroll coordination.
• Administer BambooHR, HR workflows (Monday.com), and Applicant Pro for sourcing.
