Job summary

Growth Operators is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to join as an hourly consultant for client engagements in the Greater Minneapolis-Saint Paul area. You will lead HR strategy, policies, and programs across multiple client environments, delivering advisory and interim services with a focus on driving business results.

You will collaborate with Growth Operators Partners and client leadership to assess current HR capabilities, implement improvements, and mentor client HR teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or equivalent required.
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience including 3+ years in a managerial or partner role.
• Proven leadership and mentoring ability within HR teams.
• Ability to identify issues and craft solutions via research and available resources.
• Strong analytical thinking and big-picture vision.
• Excellent organizational skills with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Decision-making skills with sound judgment.
• Experience serving multiple clients across industries.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients' HR functions and provide strategic recommendations to executives.
• Provide management of HR function and team for clients.
• Oversee daily HR processes and leverage client resources or Growth Operators team members as appropriate.
• Identify, recommend, and implement HR process improvements leveraging technology.
• Assist with performance management, training, and coaching.
• Manage employee benefits benchmarking, program development and broker relations.
• Administer benefits programs including communications, enrollment, and tiering in HRIS.
• Conduct HR system assessments and implementations (HRIS, ATS, LMS).
• Create or review HR policies and processes and ensure compliance.
• Communicate effectively with client employees in person, virtually, and in writing.
