Job summary

Growth Operators is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to provide advisory and fractional services to clients in diverse industries. The role combines leadership of HR functions with strategic oversight and hands-on problem solving.

The position requires 10+ years of HR experience, including 3+ years in a leadership or partner role, and willingness to travel to Minneapolis–Saint Paul area for onsite engagements. Hours are hourly, with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years in a manager or business partner role.
• Proven leadership ability with mentoring HR teams.
• Identify issues and research solutions through available resources.
• Strong analytical and big-picture thinking.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Willingness to spend substantial time in the Minneapolis–St. Paul area for onsite client work.
• Experience working with multiple clients across industries.

Responsibilities

• Assess client HR function and provide strategic recommendations to executives.
• Manage HR function and team for client engagements.
• Oversee day-to-day HR processes, leveraging client resources or Growth Operators staff.
• Identify and implement HR process improvements using technology.
• Assist with employee performance management, training, and coaching.
• Manage benefits benchmarking, program development and broker relations.
• Lead HRIS/ATS/LMS implementations and policy creation/review.
