Aperion Care West Chicago is seeking an HR Administrator to direct the human resources functions in line with federal, state, and local standards and the facility's policies.

The role focuses on interviewing, training, onboarding, and maintaining personnel records, while ensuring compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and all employment laws. You will also assist with personnel budgeting and promote confidentiality and residents' rights throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration preferred, but not required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in HR Administration.
• Thorough knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines concerning personnel administration in nursing care facilities.

Responsabilités

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the HR department.
• Review all requests for new or replacement personnel and arrange interviews.
• Check applications & references and arrange interviews with department directors.
• Maintain personnel records and ensure compliance with policies.
• Ensure hiring/discharge procedures comply with established procedures.
• Conduct employee background checks.
• Orient new personnel to facility policies and procedures.
• Counsel/discipline personnel as needed.
• Conduct exit interviews and maintain records.
• Maintain employee relations and confidentiality.
• Schedule all-staff in-servicing (OSHA, HIPAA, Compliance).
• Assist in development of department budgets for personnel administration.
