Job summary

Versique is seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead HR strategy for a growing multi-state organization (~1,500 employees). This senior role reports to the EVP and oversees HR operations, compliance, payroll, talent acquisition, and HR technology.

The role drives culture development, workforce integration during acquisitions, and strategic partnerships with executives to support growth across Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Colorado.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field required.
• SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive HR experience including 3+ years leading an HR function.
• Multi-site experience across Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Colorado preferred.
• Experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality industries preferred.
• Strong knowledge of multi-state employment law and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior HR advisor to executive team and align people strategy with growth.
• Lead HR/payroll team and set department priorities.
• Direct HR integration for acquisitions and workforce transitions.
• Manage recruitment strategy, branding, and interviewer training.
• Oversee employee relations, investigations, and compliance activities.
• Direct performance management, training, and onboarding programs.
• Oversee benefits, open enrollment, and 401(k) governance.
• Ensure HR systems data integrity and regulatory reporting.
