Job summary

GlassRatner Advisory & Capital Group LLC is seeking an HR Director to function as a strategic partner to senior leadership and operations teams. You will lead talent strategy, recruitment, onboarding, and HR policy compliance across a portfolio of multifamily communities, while guiding managers on employee relations and development.

The role requires 7+ years in HR leadership, with 5+ years supporting Class B & C communities, strong ADP experience, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive human resources experience, including experience operating in an HR leadership or strategic HR business partner capacity.
• 5+ years of experience supporting Class B & C multifamily residential communities is required.
• Demonstrated experience advising senior and operational leaders on complex employee relations and workforce matters.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, compliance, and HR best practices.
• Experience leading or overseeing talent acquisition and developing recruiting strategies.
• ADP experience is required.
• Excellent communication, leadership, conflict resolution, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
• Supports multiple multifamily residential communities within a designated portfolio.
• Regular travel to properties and regional offices as needed.
• Fast-paced, service-oriented environment requiring strong leadership, prioritization, judgment, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes with compliance.
• Advise senior and operational leadership on employee relations and talent strategy.
• Provide guidance on HR policies and employment laws.
• Partner with leaders to address employee concerns and improve engagement.
• Lead recruitment strategy for multiple roles and supervise the Recruiter.
• Collaborate with PEO to manage payroll, benefits, compliance and data reporting.
• Oversee onboarding and orientation programs for consistency.
• Lead complex workplace investigations and recommend resolutions.
• Coach managers on performance improvement and development.
• Lead succession planning and talent management initiatives.
• Work with leadership on compensation strategy and market analyses.
• Provide oversight of employee benefit programs and guidance.
