Job summary

Alpharus Health seeks a seasoned Senior Human Resources Director to lead benefits, compensation, and HR operations in a multi-site environment. You will shape total rewards, ensure compliant administration, and drive efficient HR services across the employment lifecycle.

Collaborating with the CHRO, you will guide strategy, governance, and vendor partnerships, while building strong teams and scalable processes in a hybrid Chicago-based setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources management, or related field; master's degree preferred.
• 7+ years of HR leadership experience with benefits, compensation, and HR operations.
• Knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance, and total rewards practices.
• Experience leading teams and cross-functional initiatives across multi-site environments.
• Proficiency with HRIS, workforce analytics, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategy with CHRO; participate in committees and projects.
• Lead compensation, benefits, recognition, and wellness programs.
• Oversee HR operations, records, data integrity, reporting, payroll coordination, and admin processes.
• Partner with leaders, consultants, carriers, and vendors for governance and delivery.
• Develop compensation frameworks, market analyses, and pay recommendations.
• Improve HR technology and workflows; lead change management and communications.
• Coach and develop HR colleagues; set goals and continuity plans.
